Irish Heritage Cookbook

The Irish Heritage Cookbook by Margaret Johnson was nominated for "Best Cookbook on National Cuisine" in the 1999 Versailles World Cookbook Fair Awards.

This excellent cookbook by Margaret Johnson contains more than 200 traditional and more innovative recipes that reflect the food renaissance going on in Ireland.

Margaret Johnson often travels to Ireland to speak to Irish chefs, food producers and restaurant owners to keep abreast of the latest events in the world of Irish Food.

In this Cookbook she includes recipes from her Irish American mother and Irish grandmother.

It's a recipe collection that ranges from 'monkfish on a causeway of leeks with mussel sauce' to 'Cheddar, Bacon and Oatmeal Souffle'.

Throughout the book there are short stories about products, such as flavourful Irish honey or Mileens Irish farmhouse cheese ( one of many delightful and deservedly famous cheeses from County Cork.

All in all,a must have.
