Ground Beef Recipes , Spicy Meatballs with Fluffy Mash.

This recipe, like a lot of ground beef recipes is a real depths of winter, running into the house, coats all over the place, 'what's for dinner?' satisfier.

SPICY MEATBALLS WITH FLUFFY MASH

Like the majority of ground beef recipes it is simple to make, economical ( ground beef can be replaced by ground lamb ) and always seems to do the trick.

If you need to prepare a meal quickly on entering the house or you need to prepare a quick meal for consumption before leaving, this easy ground beef recipe will sort it out.

While the meatballs are cooking throw on a pot of peeled, thinly sliced potatoes and mash them up nice and fluffy with a little butter, milk, salt and butter and away you go.

Now unless you have the microwaveable steaming vegetables you'll have to do without the veg. But we did say that it is a super fast, satisfying meal when you're caught for time!.

Believe me this one is a lifesaver.

3 small Onions

1 garlic Clove

1.5lb (700g)

Tomato Purée

1 Egg

1 oz. white Breadcrumbs

1 Teaspoon of cornflour

1/2 teaspoon Ground Allspice

Cooking Oil

Method

Peel and crush the garlic.

Put all the ingredients (except oil, cornflour and one onion) into a bowl.

Fry the meatballs in shallow oil for about 15 minutes.

When meatballs are cooked remove to a warm plate.

Pour a little warm water into pan.

Stir in a little tomato puree.

Chop remaining onion and add to pan.

Add cornflour, mix and leave over low heat.

Adjust consistency to suit your taste.
